To get delegates to work in a team to assemble components (supplied) in a way which delivers a ball from Point A to Point C via Point B and then to adapt the model to work in a broader team

A visit to see where some of the new technology is heading and how it will impact on your lives
K'Nex Challenge
To get delegates to work in a team to assemble a working model from components (supplied) capable of delivering a specific function, and feeding back on the processes involved.
Web of Talent
Experience what it is like to undertake a ‘user experience design’ in order to simulate building a new website home page for a very important customer!
Use your loaf
Our exhibit offers four interactive activities to harvest your potential. You can meet the crop doctor and combine science, maths and technology skills to recognise the diverse opportunities that agriculture can offer.
Create the Park of your Dreams
Students will be asked to re-design a run-down park. They will be given a budget for the redevelopment of the park. They will be asked have to decide how to spend the budget and how this will improve the park
Stop and Search
Experience carrying out a stop and search. To recognise that having power is not everything and that skills are needed - Communication, confidence, ability to deal with conflict etc
Eat, Drink, Stay...
The students will take part in three practical activities to give them an insight into the skills required to work in the hospitality industry
What lurks beneath?
Students will take part in fun practical activities to discover the importance of disease prevention and how their actions affect others.  They will discover how the microscopic things that you can't see can have a huge effect on their wellbeing.
Incident Commander
Students get the chance to work as a team to manage an emergency by making critical decisions, using effective communications and selecting the right equipment to deal with the incident.
Shop Without Walls
Students will use active listening to learn how to extract the important points from a large amount of information, identify unique selling points & undertake customer needs analysis.
